Easy-going guy, real laid back. I'm into Pokémon right now and am working on making my own game :P
Check the link to see the always up to date download and more.
Just wanted to say it's amusing that, if one is watching a dub by Funimation, the main character is almost always Ichigo. If this is true, then there is a fairly good chance his best friend is Ben Tennyson.

I like this project! I played a little of the demo and I had a surprise when I saw who the rival is!

When is this game set ? ^^ Good luck to your project!

1956, so Oak is about 19 or so, I took the design based off of his younger kid style, that you see in the movie, butr he looks like such a nerd, so I made him look like a badass, but still have similar hair.

Also what you played was a poor demo, it was just showing what I have, Its so different now, but I still can't release it hahaha, it's not good enough for a demo, but its so different
Intersting: my project is set in 1969, thirteen year later yours, but Oak is 4-5 years younger =P

I like his design, he is a believable Old-Sammy-Oak and both young-Prof-Oak ^^

Crazy messed up time lines :P
And thanks, I really like how it came out.

Hey JB!!

I'm planning on doing some games, but because of my limited knowledge on creating games and on how to work the tools, I was hoping to get some help.

Do you know of anyone who could help me?

BTWs, Got your game and am hoping to play it soon!! :D Gonna be awesome!!!

Rom hacking is usually the first go people use, as most of the stuff is there for you, and its free.
I prefer RMXP and using Pokemon essentials as it gives you a wide range of flexibility and control over your project.
the only down side is RMXP costs like 30$, but they have a free trial to let you tet it out and get a feel for it before you make the commitment, but as such there are ways of exploiting such things, but of course that's look down upon...

Anyway, if you're interested you could try using Unity 3d, I hear it's pretty good, and easy enough to get the hang of.
The only downside is that with Essentials, the wiki explains almost everything and more you need in order to make a great game with flare! also, on PC there is a pretty solid community that can help you out as you test the waters.

There you can also branch out, learn some tricks, improve upon what you have in mind, flesh it out, and then start your own game - if its good enough you can either get support, or maybe even some help be it graphics, scripts, or maps - but if people see initiative and a good project, people will help.

I'd help, but I have a lot to think about for myself, and a small side project for a free resource as well, and I have very little motivation for both XP
I hope this helps! Good luck, and thanks for playing my game!
I've encountered a problem playing the game- when you try to get the quagsire from Dan, an error window pops up and the game closes. it happens when you receive the pokemon and put it in the key items pocket. BTWs, should it say "71079's Pokémon"?

I noticed the error and have fixed it for the next update - and yes! its a key item that belongs to the owner - I believe a pokeball is locked by the owners ID, as to prevent someone stealing a person's pokemon, and to give the extra incentive to return the quagsire instead of stealing it XP
